**Roles and Responsibilities**

- Requires knowledge within the function. Participate on development of strategy for the area of responsibility, influencing policy formulation.
- Recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering with some level of help. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
- Able to propose new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with mínimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

**Qualifications Requirements**

- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Solid contribution in a similar role or previous position
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate with Senior Leadership.
- Demonstrated ability in managing projects across functions
- Capable of coaching others to accomplish assignments
- Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability in establishing common goals and objectives
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to influence others and to lead small teams.
- Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Proven analytical and organizational abilities

**Desired Characteristics**

- Familiarity with multiple methods of producing composite hardware using aerospace composite materials
- Experience leading and mentoring less experienced engineers.
- Familiar with APQP best practices and implementation, in depth understanding of quality processes used to assess and control composite hardware
- Background in mechanical design and FEA of composite hardware
- Strong program management experience and digital management tool familiarity
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
