Overview:
We are CalAmp, the pure-play pioneering leader of the Connected Car, Connected Truck, and broader Internet of Things (IoT) marketplace. Currently, we are seeking a Buyer with at least 3 years of experience. This is an exciting opportunity for those who wish to work for a stable, well-established company that builds transformational technologies within the revolutionary domain of IoT.

We are currently seeking a Buyer to execute purchasing activities (items and services on behalf of the organization) to ensure purchasing policies are satisfied in the execution of purchase orders. You will ensure that materials and parts are available to meet production schedules by purchasing finished goods and raw materials, monitoring delivery schedules, and establishing good relationships with multiple vendors. This role will review MRP requirements, maintain & verify prices, material lead times, process purchase orders, and expedite deliveries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Primary responsibility will be to create, place, confirm and expedite purchase orders.
- Follows up with vendors on open Purchase Orders and delivery status of open PO's
- Resolve quality, pricing, and delivery issues with suppliers.
- Interface with Accounts Payable and internal customers to resolve invoice and receiving discrepancies.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Associates degree in a related field such as business, finance, accounting or supply management.
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
- Experience using Oracle (or similar) MRP system.
- Proficient with Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
- APICS or ISM certification desired.
