**Tareas y responsabilidades clave (funciones esenciales)**:
- Leads various aspects of the design process including, but not limited to, the development of Hardware design. Design work varies from new product development to product enhancements and cost reduction activities.
- Product design and development of LED Drivers, including product definition, parts selection and qualification.
- Generation of engineering documentation including specification, schematics, layouts, BOM and quality reports.
- Perform all qualification tests to ensure new drivers meet electrical, Thermal, EMI, mechanical and environmental requirements.

6 to 9 years as Design Engineer
**Experiência preferida (es decir, sector de experiência)**:
High knowledge and experience on power electronics circuits
Boost, Buck, Flyback Topologies
LLC, LCC and resonant topologies
Linear regulators
Transient protection circuits
EMI filter design
Electronic component selection
Lifetime for electronic SMPS calculation
Electrical simulation experience (Pspice / LTSpice)
Thermal basics for simulation (Desirable)
Microcontroller programming skills and experience
Cortex M0 microcontrollers
8 Bits microcontroller
C/C++ and assembler knowledge
Communication Protocols
Equipment knowledge
Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, AC/DC power supplies, electronic loads
Experience on new product validation and certification process (UL/CSA)
PCB design knowledge, electrical, standards and manufacturing rules
Knowledge of UL standards and testing processes applicable to LED drivers and lighting
