**MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN**

**ABOUT THE JOB**
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on machinery in optimum time and conditions.
- Analyze, locate and repair faults in PLC equipment using appropriate techniques and peripheral equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical diagrams.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair faults related to electrical control, industrial electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, robotics, automation, etc. For example: variable speed drives, electric boards, sensors, starters, relays, contactors, conveyors, robots, PLC, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair servo control mechanisms.
- Conduct root cause analysis of failures and utilize troubleshooting techniques to ensure effective equipment repairs.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

The noise level in the working environment is usually moderate to high. Temperatures can vary according to weather conditions and can be extreme. Gates is managed in accordance with applicable guidelines and requires all employees to wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Indispensable experience in industrial maintenance
- Completed technical career or high school
- Knowledge of NOM-020 regulations for pressure vessels.
- Knowledge of NOM-093 regulations Pressure relief valves (safety-relief) operated by spring and pilot; made of steel and bronze.
- Pneumatic circuits, basic hydraulics Programming
- Reading and interpretation of piping and instrument diagrams.
- Use of electromechanical and electronic instruments in measuring (sensors, controllers and actuators)
- Execution of measurement procedures, regulation and observation of variables (pressures, temperatures, weight).
- Application and selection of pressure, level, flow and temperature measurement techniques.
- Installation, disassembly and basic maintenance of measurement and control instruments.
- Basic maintenance of valves
- Technical drawing
- Use of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of safety standards, LOTO,
- Availability of schedule, no transportation problems
