**What's the role?**
On any given day as a Market Specialist, you will be consulting with senior decision makers at client accounts, helping to close new sale opportunities, and providing critical feedback to help shape the development of our product. By championing the Bloomberg Professional Service at market events and through printed material, you become the face of our company.

Comprised of former risk managers, portfolio managers, analysts, and more, our team of market specialists serve as the de facto market and asset class authorities. Our team not only heightens our user base's experience and impacts sales revenue, but it also plays a vital role in improving the knowledge of our sales force and is a dedicated source of client feedback for our product development teams.

**You'll need to have**:
10+ years of practical experience in Interest Rates and Fixed Income with a theoretical knowledge on fixed income securities valuation including bonds, loans and derivatives such as IR Futures, Options, Swaps and Swaptions
A strong understanding of Fixed Income Derivatives, FX Derivatives, Risk Management (Market, Credit/Counterparty, Liquidity Risks)
Thorough knowledge and experience of the BLOOMBERG PROFESSIONAL® service, and familiarity with other relevant market information platforms
Strong presentation and training skills with the ability to convey complex ideas and solutions in a simple and concise way to audiences both large and small
Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence decisions and deliver results in a timely manner. Live in Mexico and be proficient in Spanish and English. Willingness to travel.

Understand our suite of products and solutions, how our clients can and could use them, what challenges they face and how our product suite will solve their challenges.
Understand the competitive landscape, market and industry trends, the impact of our product and how clients use our product because of those factors
Understand the product pipeline, effectively communicate it to our customers, and help product prioritize and build through a Pre-Sales process
Influence the direction of Bloomberg product through thought leadership and establishing relationships between Bloomberg's decisions makers and our clients.
Communicate the strategy for your product and asset class to the sales forces within Bloomberg.
Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate and address client needs.
Seek out additional ways to make an impact, such as mentoring, involvement in training, running campaigns, and active involvement in product improvement
Use your market experience to pro-actively act as a technical consultant to advance and support Sales processes, increase product adoption and also protect the business (terminal and Enterprise solutions).

Programming experience for data analytics (Python preferred)
