Your New Role**:
The Manager, DevOps and Automation will be responsible for leading a team focused on developing and maintaining automation solutions that enhance the efficiency and scalability of our operations. This role will play a critical part in support of DevOps tools across the organization and ensuring continuous integration and delivery pipelines are optimized for maximum performance.

Your Role Accountabilities:
**OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT**
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers and automation specialists.
- Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Ensure the team adheres to best practices in DevOps and automation.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the DevOps team.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of automation solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update clients on project status and achievements.
- Gather feedback and implement improvements to enhance client satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving.
- Ensure solutions meet high standards of quality, functionality, and user experience.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes and methodologies.
- Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources, including team members, budget, and tools, to ensure project success.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, lessons learned, and process enhancements.
- Collaboration: Foster collaboration and effective communication within the team and across departments to ensure project objectives are met.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and alignment with the company's financial goals.

**STRATEGY**
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand team needs and dependencies to better align business processes.
- Accurately and clearly articulate strategic issues and provide relevant, logical options for solving them.
- Create comprehensive and meaningful strategy presentations for senior executives.
- Ability to build a framework and drive development through dynamic business intelligence tools and dashboards for use in ongoing business planning and goal measurement through KPIs.

Qualifications & Experiences:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software development and DevOps practices
- Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration.
- In-depth knowledge of automation frameworks and tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and client satisfaction.

Not Required but preferred experience:

- Certified in DevOps and automation tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code and configuration management.
- Previous experience in a similar industry or domain.
