**About the role**

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Senior Mechanical-Electrical Engineer you’ll be responsible for:

- Interaction with team members both internal and external to create new control box designs and features according to their specifications.
- Management of your own workflow for assigned projects.
- Assist mechanical designers in the creation of enclosure and assembly drawings.
- Manage electronic Engineering Change Notice (ECN) generation and implementation through the Windchill product data management system.
- Support of sustaining products including quality improvements, cost reductions, component obsolescence, and failure analysis.
- Utilization of PTC Creo to create models, assemblies, and perform mechanical analysis.
- Assembly and evaluation of physical mock-ups of control boxes and panels
- Provide mechanical sustaining, drafting, and analysis expertise in the areas of sheet metal, fasteners, and enclosures for electrical panels for use in the HVAC and adjacent industries.
- Sustaining of enclosures that meet varying levels of ingress protection
- Support on layout of electrical and electro-mechanical devices within enclosures followed by layout and design of wiring harnesses to interconnect inside and outside the enclosure.
- Examples include Mold Case Circuit Breakers, Control Transformers, Fuses, Contactors, etc.
- Utilization of AutoCad as well as Microsoft Office to complete design level documentation.
- Utilization of PTC Creo or similar CAD modeling packages
- Examples of documentation include harness drawings and bills-of-material.
- Evaluation and approval of components with suppliers to meet requirements for function and performance.
- Plan and execute projects assigned to keep them as planned.

**Requirements**:

**As a minimum you must have**:

- BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5- 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience with PTC Creo or similar CAD modeling packages
- Familiarity with standard office productivity tolls (Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Advanced English

**Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have**:

- Project management skills are considered very beneficial.
- Familiarity with reading, understanding, and troubleshooting electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with electromechanical devices (motors, breakers, relays, etc) and electromechanical enclosures and control panel development is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems is highly desirable
- Familiarity with national and international standards. (NEMA, IP, ANSI, UL1995, UL60335, UL508a, and NFPA 70.)
