Come and live the UNIQUE EXPERIENCE of being **BBVA**. **Overview.** The **Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) area**is a key player within the **BBVA Mexico´s Group**, where we participate as a single team, together with the other General Managements, providing value by serving the segment of the largest companies in Mexico. Our main responsibility lies in developing the bank's relationship with our clients, advising them on their financial risk needs, funding and growth strategies. **BBVA's Investment Banking and Finance (IB&F), Advisory (M&A/ECM) team**brings together knowledge and experience in a wide range of sectors and financial advisory services to help our clients achieve their goals, from the strategic alternatives to their execution and implementation, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and capital structure optimization. **Position**: Investment Banking Associate Advisory - Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Equity Capital Markets (ECM) **Responsibilities**: - Execute projects with minimum supervision and coordinate Analysts from beginning to end. - Generate recommendations for clients on strategic alternatives including equity and debt transactions. - Develop relationships with new and existing clients to strengthen our market position and expand the business. - Build financial models (including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, taxes, and sensitivities) with various valuation modules. - Perform valuations of companies or assets considering intrinsic valuation methods (DCF, DDM, LBO, etc.) as well as comparable multiples. - Prepare marketing materials for our clients including confidential information memorandums (CIM), management presentations, teasers, roadshow presentations, pitchbooks and any other required. - Conduct analysis of historical financial information of companies, industry, market and economic data to develop actionable reports including valuable insights. - Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions. - Lead due diligence processes, populate and organize virtual data rooms, and coordinate external advisor relationships (commercial, technical, legal, tax, accounting, and other firms). **Qualifications & Education requirements**: - 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, equity research or other similar financial backgrounds. - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or Economics preferred.
