**job description**

**Position Summary**

• Performs PPAP Annual Revalidations as required.

**Essential Functions**

• Review of Customer Portals scorecards and PPAP Orders.
• Work in completion of Customer PPAP with Project Quality Engineer.
• The employee has the authority to stop the production line, when he/she notices that the product has a quality problem or defect.

**Management & Supervisory Responsibilities**

• Job **is** **NOT directly** responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).

**Knowledge**

• Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Capability Studies.
• Knowledge in PFMEA & Control Plan methodology.
• Familiar with Customer PPAP requirements according to AIAG.
• Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members
• Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.

**Experience**

• Minimum 1 year of Quality or Manufacturing experience in the automotive/truck industry with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Tier 1 supplier is required related to PPAP submission.
• Customer requirements knowledge (FORD, Paccar, Volvo, Navistar) is a plus.

**Skills**

• Capable of working in a Team environment with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Project planning and follow-up skills essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Able to translate and review documents in English.

**Education/Certifications**

• BS/BSET degree required in Engineering or Business Administration.
• 1 year of experience in an engineering environment.
• Working knowledge of Automotive/Trucking Industry Quality requirements and standards a plus.
