As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Implementing, administering, and maintaining the security tools, solutions and processes for data protection ecosystem.
- Producing detailed technical design, test plans, and implementation plans.
- Providing support for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) platform including analysis, continuous configuration, tuning and testing of data loss prevention policies
- Maintaining/troubleshooting issues with the DLP security infrastructure
- Maintaining and supporting other Cyber Security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR and Endpoint Security
- Documenting processes and procedures relating to Cyber Security technologies
- Assisting with maintaining the Cyber Security DLP metrics and artifacts
- Working with all scrum teams for security-focused design

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
- Have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
- Have 2+ years’ experience with technical hands-on in data protection and enterprise DLP solution management.
- Have problem solving, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
- Demonstrate understanding of cyber security operation workflows.

Technical Expertise:

- Have beginner to medium knowledge of Scripting tools (e.g., Python/PowerShell)
- Have experience with technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, and SOPs
- Have an understanding of a variety of security tools and technologies (IDS/IPS, EDR, XDR, SIEM, Vuln Mgmt., etc.)

- Be able to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to complete independently and meet tight timelines.
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Have interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people in a wide range of levels.
- Have knowledgeable about useful metrics, and how to work with them to track against goals/KPIs.
