Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a **Senior Systems Engineer** to drive modernization and migration efforts while implementing scalable, secure cloud solutions.

This position is pivotal in managing AWS-focused infrastructure, developing operational excellence, and fostering collaboration across teams to enable seamless integration of systems and processes.

**Responsibilities**
- Implement and manage AWS services such as ECS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and CloudWatch
- Manage server patching, monitoring, backup, and scaling workloads in AWS
- Create and maintain automation scripts and tools for provisioning using Ansible
- Utilize IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for reusable infrastructure deployment
- Establish Ansible-based configuration management for updates and system state
- Orchestrate hybrid systems throughout migration activities
- Lead the adoption of modern development tools, including GitHub and version control practices
- Operate containerized workloads using Docker and AWS ECS/EKS
- Implement data pipelines with services like AWS Glue to enable data movement
- Build secure and reliable APIs for exposing and integrating data
- Design networking configurations such as VPCs, load balancers, and hybrid cloud connections
- Establish communication between on-premises systems and AWS resources
- Mentor and upskill teams in automation, cloud-native operations, and systems optimization
- Collaborate across engineering, DevOps, development, and analytics teams to ensure successful migration

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, cloud operations, or DevOps
- Knowledge of AWS services such as ECS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and CloudWatch
- Skills in IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation and configuration management using Ansible
- Background in containerized workloads with Docker or AWS ECS/EKS and CI/CD pipeline development
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud connectivity, networking configurations such as VPCs, and security groups
- Expertise in creating secure APIs and integrating data pipelines (e.g., AWS Glue)
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

**Nice to have**
- Understanding of front-end frameworks like React.js, Node.js, and JavaScript
- Showcase of collaborative development practices using GitHub
- Qualifications in IAM configurations and secure API management
