**Job Summary**

Oversees that production processes manufacture adequate quantities of products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand. Choose and measure raw materials and parts to specifications for processing. Oversees equipment set up, operation feed, speed, temperature for tasks such as cutting, punching, drilling, turning, forming, tapping, milling and stamping to fabricate, shape manufactured parts, tools or parts assemblies from raw materials. May oversees one or multiple shifts within the production department. Responsible for metrics, safety and overall performance of the team.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for tracking results, overtime, OEE and operational production activities, setting priorities and objectives according to the daily situation. In daily meetings, he reports compliance with the Manufacturing program and plans future activities.

Responsible for the safety and hygiene of personnel and work areas, follow-up to the training vs program and participates in the multidisciplinary work groups, conducts meetings with the management to evaluate results of the area under their charge with respect to the programs of manufacture and control of staff templates.

Participate in meetings of new product launches. Take control of the production under the QAD system. It prepares detection of training needs of the personnel in charge and coordinates the floor training plans. Controls and evaluates staff skills and evaluates performance. Establish strategies for cost reduction and continuous improvement.

Perform on-site tours to audit compliance with procedures, safety, order and cleanliness, plan and establish strategies. Follow up on new projects or special activities, proposals for improvement. He is in charge of the implementation work of ISO TS 16949, establishes goals, makes rejection graphs, productivity, CPK'S and downtime. Responsible for the review of staff templates vs. budget.

Develop the leadership skills and decision making of the supervisors Sr and supervisors. ensure the implementation of records and systems in plant to ensure the quality of the product in each process, facilitate the relationship between the requirements of the production area and those of the top managers of the company. Review, analyze, control and allocate the budget provided by the finance area in order to optimize its use to the benefit of the needs.

Validation and / or modification of environmental objectives and support for compliance. Identify Environmental Aspects of the operation. Analysis of new projects and their impact on the environment. Establish objectives and goals for the Environmental Management System and its maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor Degree's (Industrial, mechanical, or similar)
- 3 - 5 years as Production Manager
- Experience in automotive industry
