The Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining financial records for a company using the Epicor ERP software or related like Oracle. This person will work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Responsibilities: - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using Epicor ERP software. - Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. - Reconciling accounts and resolving any discrepancies. - Managing the company's general ledger, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately. - Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Generating financial reports for management and external stakeholders. - Coordinating with external auditors during the annual audit process. - Identifying areas for process improvement and recommending solutions to improve financial efficiency and accuracy. - Providing support to other members of the finance team as needed.
Experiência y requisitos
Eddy Pump is a fast-growing international engineering and manufacturing company currently looking for an experienced accountant with Epicor experience to work in Tijuana office and ability to work in the San Diego office once a week. Qualifications: - 3+ years’ experience using Epicor ERP software. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - A degree in accounting or a related field - AR/AP experience - Bank reconciliation experience - Professional certifications, such as a CPA or CMA, may also be preferred.
