GFI fosters a work culture that promotes happiness, teamwork, trust, work-life balance and success for our employees. **Responsibilities** - Entering complex invoices into our accounting system - Obtaining approvals for invoices - Investigating discrepancies in invoices - Validation and booking of supplier invoices - Matching invoices with Purchase Orders (PO) - Obtaining appropriate approvals for non-PO invoices - Fund Request and Payments processing - Handling supplier and Site queries relating to payables - Processing Travel Expense Reports - AP month-end closing and reporting - Maintaining historical records by microfilming and filing documents - Involvement in data cleansing activity and data ownership transfer - Tracking actual costs vs budget - Other responsibilities as required or assigned **Qualifications** - Minimum of 1 years of bookkeeping experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience - Post-secondary education in bookkeeping, or similar - Good command of accounting knowledge - Past bookkeeping experience with a public company is an asset - Sage knowledge will be an added advantage - Strong verbal and written English communication skills - Proficient in MS Office (with strong excel skills) - Phone - (416) 431-0915 - Mail - 43 Colborne St, Suite 400, Toronto, ON M5E 1E3 Ability to commute/relocate: - Mexico C.P. 83148, Mexico C.P. : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) Application Question(s): - What are your salary expectations?
