**IT Project Manager, Datacenters**

**Role Description**:
The IT Project Manager responsible for providing direction and guidance for a wide array of activities associated with project planning and management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to client specifications. The ideal person can provide and define strategic direction of the relevant business area(s), and both roadmap and manage the lifecycle from project initiation through to program closure. The IT PM will drive execution of the key deliverables from information gathering, multiple management reviews, approvals and improvements for datacenter consolidation projects.

**Job Duties**:

- Meet with executives to gather requirements, understand business and technical objectives and create project plans, diagrams and roadmaps for datacenter consolidation projects (some datacenters may be moving; moving machines from on-prem to private cloud).
- Help to define clear direction (i.e. target stage, when, locations, etc.) collaborating with teams both throughout the USA and Mexico regarding technical aspects of projects.
- Present project plans, strategies and solutions to upper management and executives planning and estimating milestones/activities (effort/duration) and identifying role/skills set per activity

(system, OS, middleware).
- Manage the execution of project management activities such as project reporting, PI planning, risk identification/tracking, scope mgmt., estimation, client & relationship management and other project documentation preparation for projects of medium to high business complexity.
- Identify and evaluate risks, issues and dependencies, and measures and monitors program actuals, forecasts and budgets and updates plans and reporting financial information and status to the required executive level through steering committees.
- Oversee and spearhead the design, development, implementation and successful embedding of all change project deliverables aligned to the project scope and required delivery outcomes.
- Analyze objectives and present proposals to stakeholders, review metrics to identify incongruous reporting and messaging while offering analytical expertise in identifying, evaluating, designing and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.

**Education & Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- 4-5+ years’ formal project management experience in a financial services environment
- Project plan preparation from high level to technical detail level
- Infrastructure projects management experience (DR, Datacenters, Private Cloud, Network,..)
- Must have technical background in Datacenters
- Experience working in a company based on ITIL environment (Change management, incident management, service management )

**Plus**:

- PMP, Scrum Master (CSM) and/or SAFe certifications are highly desirable
