**About the Sr Java Developer position**

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Java Back-End Developer to join our team. Our project aims to revolutionize the travel industry by providing a comprehensive travel experience solution. The current process of reserving, handling, and providing travel has its limitations, which is why businesses and their personnel are transitioning to our platform.
As a Senior Java Back-End Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the back-end systems that power our platform. You will work closely with the development team, software architects, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless and unified travel experience for our clients. This includes integrating various partners such as airlines, hotels, car rental services, traveler assistance, customer loyalty programs, and employee rewards programs.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain robust and scalable Java back-end systems for our comprehensive travel experience platform.
- Collaborate with the development team to design and implement features that enhance the overall user experience.
- Integrate various partners and services into our platform, ensuring smooth and efficient communication between different systems.
- Implement best practices for code quality, performance, security, and scalability.
- Write unit tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the back-end systems.
- Collaborate with the Front-End team to ensure seamless integration between the back-end and front-end components.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions to maintain the platform’s reliability.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Java Developer, with a focus on back-end development.
- Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of database systems and proficiency in SQL.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing methodologies, and code documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team.

**Nice-to-have**
- Experience with Front-End technologies such as Angular to facilitate seamless integration with the user interface.
- Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks such as Spring.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
