At Ingredion we are looking for an OP & SCH Finance Intern responsible to learn and observe key processes and controls to ensure accurate information release for financial statements and be able to propose simplifications and ways to transfer the excel current reports to PBI.

**As an Intern OP & SCH FINANCE, your responsibilities will include**:

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements to ensure accurate costing financial data is available for the Ingredion Mexico business as required.
- Prepare and provide financial information for internal/external audits and support external reporting requirements as it relates to cost accounting.
- Identify, initiate and develop system changes with information technology to improve the availability of financial information, minimizing disruption during implementation and creating efficiencies.
- Perform account analysis, product costing variance analysis, and others needed for the migration of excel reports to PBI as requested by manager.

- Build and maintain effective working relationships and team work.
- Possess strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Have strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Are able to meet deadlines and understand priorities
- Student bachelor’s degree (last year) in Accounting.
- Proven proficiency in the use of MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc).
- Experience with SAP and Power BI desirable
- Advance level in English
