The SR. NPI Engineer Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates standard techniques, procedures and criteria for large projects of modest scope. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
About The Role:
- Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates standard techniques, procedures and criteria to meet project requirements for new product development or enhancement. (45%)- Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. (40%)- Determine root cause analysis and testing activities to successfully meet requirements of project. (10%)- Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements. (5%)- Other duties as assigned.
About You:
- Education: Bachelor's or university degree in Engineering- Five to seven years of experience- Deep knowledge of engineering practices- Focused on driving innovation through hands-on exploration of: New materials, Advanced manufacturing processes and Emerging technologies.- Evaluating and experimenting with plastics, injection molding, and laser technologies- Reviewing technical data sheets- Setting up and executing design experiments- Sourcing new equipment and implementing new processes
