Delivers day-to-day support of Human Resources (HR) policies, programs and processes by providing quality real-time solutions to employee inquiries and requests. Applies working knowledge and understanding of internal HR policies spanning benefits, compensation, employment, employee relations, payroll, training and HRIS to assist employees. Ensures all employee information is entered and maintained within HR system(s) and corrects errors when needed. Ensures questions are addressed correctly and in a timely manner, and where needed, escalates and routes issues to the most appropriate HR individual / department.
- Individuals here have a wellrounded knowledge of the policies and procedures for their work area.
- Their work may require discretion and independent judgment for non-routine matters. However, the primary focus of work activity is predominately routine.
- They may make policy recommendation s to their managers and be an escalation point for less experienced team members.
- Provides firstlevel support in response to more complex employee, supervisor and manager questions.
- Resolves escalated questions from less experienced staff.
- Engages with HR generalist / HRBP to resolve systemic and/or more complex issues.
- Tracks status of outstanding issues.
- May perform as a specialist in one or more HR disciplines.
