**Job Summary**
The Maintenance Coordinator is the responsible to develop, managers and administration the maintenance of equipment, machinery, facilities and services in general, to keep them in optimal operating and functioning conditions, is in charge of carrying out the work planning, that is, the how, when and where, and the time in which the predictive, corrective, preventive maintenance and those resulting from all the above will be executed, which is measured through a schedule of work orders supported by a schedule.

**Responsibilities**:

- Elimination of breakdowns and maintenance of basic conditions through use of focused improvement LEAN methods including implementation of countermeasures and implement standardized maintenance processes as well as cost savings improvements.
- Maintenance standard work instructions development and modification.
- Proposes and manages medium-scale projects from beginning to end. May scope and manage large capital investment projects.
- Collaborates and takes over responsibilities with other departments in preparing scope of work including project requirements, milestones, deliverables, end products and documents.
- Responsible to support implementation of new equipment and acceptance check list.
- Drives the implementation of maintenance continuous improvement processes to create a Lean Manufacturing environment.
- Develop robust contentions and countermeasures for equipment downtime (PDCA, OPR)
- Lead the implementation of predictive maintenance and TPM.
- Develops best practices to improve equipment capacity, quality and reliability.
- Interact and be part of JSA and Ergonomic analysis.
- Develop training plans for technical personnel and
- maintenance assistant.
- Define the level of skill required of maintenance personnel (training matrix).
- Define level of critical spare parts usage and maintenance in order to reduce cost and downtime.
- Complies with maintenance financial standards by contributing to the development of the departmental annual budget information, expenses monitoring and implementing corrective actions.
**Education Requirements**
- Engineer Degree Required.
**Education Specifications**
- Degree in Mechanical / electronic or mechatronic engineer.
**Language requirement**
- English Language (Bilingue)
**Experience Requirements**
- Experience in the metalworking industry.
- Required experience in maintenance of forklifts, steel coil lengthwise slitter / multi blanking lines, overhead cranes, trackmobile, etc.
- PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley).
- +4 years planning, development and implementation of maintenance processes.
- +4 years mechanics, electrical and control maintenance, personnel management, problem solving methods, TPM implementation.
- 4+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment.
- Interpretation of electrical and mechanical diagrams.
- Technical personnel management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
