**Job Position Accountabilities / Expectations**

1. Coordinates & Executes complex projects based on specialized knowledge.

2. Designs, proposes, and/or implements new systems, that require knowledge on different continuous improvements techniques.

3. Lead or participate in cross functional project teams for continuous improvement and/or new product and/or processes introduction, transferal, and implementation of new processes according to the client’s expectations.

4. Develops, modifies, and maintains standard operating procedures of the engineering function.

5. Provide support to assigned assembly lines in order to improve processes, method, or equipment.

6. Develop part analysis, DOE, validations protocol in order to maintained or for new or process improvement.

7. Train to supervisors, line leads and/or operators on product process changes.

8. Design fixtures, production tools, and process equipment using modeling software (CAD, solid works or others).

9. Manage projects which meet timeline, scope and cost.

10. As a team member, contribute to the Business Unit goals in order to reach de conformance, back order, and other team goals.

11. Provide support to quality system (QNC, CAPA, MVP, VALIDATIONS, Deviations)

12. Lead 6 sigma as well as kaizen event projects to drive cost savings.

13. Able to map to identify cost savings opportunities as well as execute opportunities for lean transformation activities (modify manufacturing flow).

**Qualifications / Education / Experience / Skill Required**

**Required Qualifications**:
**Education**: Engineering bachelor degree.

**Experience**: At Least 4 years of experience in the Maquiladora industry and knowledge of its regulations. Experience in Manufacturing Operations of Medical devices, with solid evidence of continued growth and successful leadership of projects demonstrating achieving results in a team environment. Knowledge of Lean/ 6 sigma tools and methodology, preferred GB certified or demonstrate the usage of applied statistics and VSM with experience on leading Kaizen events. Bilingual (English/ Spanish).

**Preferred Qualifications**:
FDA, ISO13485, GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) & validation, DOE, layouts, fixture design.
