This is a unique opportunity to join a high-spirited, dedicated, talented and fun team of Engineers working in a challenging project for the automotive industry in Estado de Mexico.
Be a part of a team committed to excellence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Implement, upgrade, and maintain Windows and VMware environments at various gaming datacenter and remote environments. Create diagnostic and automation scripts to assist with these duties.
What you will do:
- Work with a diverse variety of systems and technologies.
- Develop, manage, and monitor backup and replication strategies.
- Perform daily\weekly analysis on data center server infrastructure.
- Assist in documentation of complex systems and deployments.
- Develop disaster recovery plan and perform routine testing.
- Create automation scripts to automate routine tasks and gather diagnostics and performance metrics.
- Work with internal audit to maintain compliance of system for all regulated requirements.
- Provide mentoring and training to the rest of the systems engineering team.
- Provide root cause analysis of major failures to management team.
- Monitor security systems to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Adhere to compliance requirements.
- Work closely with other IT and security professionals, such as network administrators, software developers, and information security analysts, to ensure the integration of security into all aspects of the organization's systems and operations.
**Qualifications**
**Experience**
- 3+ years professional experience maintaining Windows, SQL VMWare virtual environments.
- Familiarity with enterprise security and management tools.
- Familiarity with some programming languages like Java or.Net.
- Stay current with security trends: Stay current with emerging security trends, technologies, and threats and make recommendations for improving the organization's security posture.
- Expertise with SAN/shared storage, high availability and DR concepts.
- AWS experience a plus
- Gaming industry experience is preferred, but not required
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Strong understanding of Windows, Active Directory, DNS, Powershell, SQL and VMWare.
- Ability to interact with remote field service technicians on deployments and problem resolution.
- Experience with teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V6, FEDEBOM, BOM-CAD
- Need to have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Must be available for shared on-call rotation when needed.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required gaming cards and licensing upon employment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Able to travel to US or/and Canada should the need arise.
