Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Test Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Test Engineering Director, Test Engineering Manager role involves managing the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of testing procedures, strategies, systems and modifications. Acts as an advisor to test engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations and acts as a liaison to other engineering functions. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.

What a typical day looks like:

- Management of electronic diagnostic and repair area
- Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
- Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required to test, and record test data.
- Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
- Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
- Keeps communication with costumer.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent English.
- Previous experience in similar positions.
- Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment focused on networking and telecom products.
- Experience in Debug / Reparation Telecommunication Systems.
- Experience as Test Engineer.
- Experience in environmental testing.
- Experience in diagnostic area.
- Staff Management.
- Green Belt Certification is also a plus.
