**Responsibilities**:
**The Opportunity**
- Lead and develop innovation projects for the Savory business mainly focused on Pellet platform
- Lead, provide technical solutions and develop projects under different R&D pillars: Portfolio Transformation, Productivity, Brand Stewardship, business continuity initiatives and E2E Quality across the multiple platforms and countries
- Build robust specifications, formula and product design definition according to PepsiCo guidelines and consumer drivers
- Point of contact to business partners (Mktg, Stage gate) to land the commercial strategy into technical projects

**Your Impact**

As **R&D Region Sr Engineer** your scope would consist of:
Innovation:

- Lead and develop Innovation projects according to platform and aligned to brand guiderails, in the short-, medium
- and long-term scope.
- Raw materials selection and validation, formulation, prototyping, costing, sensory/consumer evaluation, documentation.
- Align and land the brand/project strategy with business partners (Mktg, Finance, Stage Gate)
- Interaction with Marketing, Procurement, Stage gate, Operations, Finance
- Brand Stewardship:

- Coordinate, develop and execute design or quality improvements where appropriate, according to consumer data and business needs.
- Align and land the product strategy with business partners (Operations, Mktg, Finance, Stage Gate)
- Interaction with Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, Operations
- Portfolio Transformation/Winning with Purpose Agenda:
Coordinate, develop and validate any product modification driven by WwP agenda or
- Regulatory guidelines.
Impacted groups: Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing

Productivity:

- Development and execution of initiatives that provide savings to the BU, ensuring product design.
- Align and land the product strategy with business partners (Operations, Mktg, Finance, Stage Gate) Impacted groups: Manufacturing, Operations, Marketing, Procurement

Processes:

- Ensure all projects comply with R&D processes such as TSG, PQP, etc.
Impacted groups: R&D

Documentation:

- Ensure all documentation is in place and ready by the time of product start up (project brief, specifications, PEC’s, BOM, PLM, TSG documentation). Impacted groups: R&D

Qualifications:
**¿Who Are We Looking For?**
- Food Engineering/ Food Chemistry/ Food Technology/ Process Engineering bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years’ experience in food industry, preference to have R&D background or an equal experience in Production/Quality with focus on frying process or pellet/ pasta industry
- Product development knowledge
- Advance level in English language (communication skills, both oral and written)
- Basic statistics knowledge
- Good knowledge on raw materials functionality
- Growing levels of leadership, networking and communication skills
- Results oriented
- Great level of decision making, creativity, data analysis, intellectual curiosity skills
