**Mechanical Design Engineer** for work

**Requirements**:
Solidworks.

AutoCAD.

Electrical Distribution.

Product Knowledge.

**Responsibilities**:
Converts Existing 2D Switchboard Designs to 3D Modeling.

Designs standard switchboards and other electrical products using 3D Modeling.

Creates 3D assemblies and generates bills of materials.

Assigns part numbers too all design parts and assemblies.

Generates 2D drawings of assemblies and parts

Creates flat patters for CNC machining of all metal and bus parts.

Selected electrical components, steel, and other electrical components to meet UL standards and build a quality product.

Prepares design for UL testing or other required industry tests.
