Take on exciting challenges and build a career path that reflects who you are.** **Position Mission**: Monitor the Damage Prevention Plan (DPP) in construction projects carried out by municipal or state agencies, as well as private companies that need to work near our natural gas distribution network, in order to minimize potential damage. **Your Impact**: As a Damage Prevention Plan (DPP) Technician, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to our mission by performing the following key responsibilities: - **Monitoring the DPP**, both through documentation review and on-site inspections of construction projects that may affect the natural gas distribution network, in order to take actions that minimize risks and infrastructure damage. - **Supporting the Gas Pipeline, Network, and Regulation Station departments** by facilitating communication and scheduling among them for fieldwork execution and coordinating site visits with authorities regarding road improvements in areas where our network is located. - **Executing and supervising fieldwork with contractors**, ensuring proper communication and scheduling for the execution of tasks, and coordinating with government entities to guarantee that work programs are completed on time, in compliance with safety standards and procedures. **Requirements**: To join our team as PPD technician, we are looking for: - **Education and Experience**: Industrial Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or a related field. - **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ability to drive manual transmission vehicles, valid driver's license, ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints, intermediate knowledge of construction concepts and terminology - **Key Competencies**: Activity control, problem analysis, oral communication, teamwork, leadership, decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation, adherence to policies and procedures, and a strong focus on safety. - **Languages**: does not apply **Join us and be part of the adventure of the century** **Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion**: At ENGIE, we promote an environment where you feel free to give your best.
