Customer Service Representative
Salary range: $18,000 -$ 20,000 mensuales
Location: Mexico City, Hybrid
Contract: Fixed Term, Full Time
We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who will manage client and customer requests efficiently while driving continuous improvement in our processes. This role is key in overseeing the full order fulfilment process for both domestic and export customers.
We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.
This position is initially for a fixed term period of 3 months, with the possibility of an extension.
**About the role**
As the first point of contact for customer queries, you'll be responsible for processing orders, ensuring policy compliance, coordinating shipments, and managing after-receipt claims. You'll also maintain customer profiles, participate in meetings, and collaborate across teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Credit & Collections, and Billing.
A core part of your responsibilities will involve managing seasonal returns, resolving order issues, and supporting your team members during absences.
**About you**
- You are a customer-focused problem solver with experience in front-line customer service.
- You have an understanding of international trade (especially exports) and ERP systems like SAP.
- You possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and English language skills (intermediate level).
- A background in business, administration, or a related field is a plus.
