Objectives

To support Product Towers to achieve top and bottom line by proactively analyzing business drivers, such as Loss Ratio, premium, commission and underlying trends to identify opportunities and deviations for Personal Insurance business.

To constantly pursue report and data management automatization through programming skills and system understanding according to Actuarial and Product Areas needs, reports must be deeply understood and explained to contribute with solutions.
- Main activities
- Data Development: Data extraction through system understanding for the proper process automatization of reports and required databases, allowing to spend more time on analysis.
- Data Analysis: Manage databases with the information required and analyze them to detect deviations or conclude with findings that will allow us to improve results by modifying our rates or UW processes.
- Product Development: Understand the market and clients’ needs to enhance our current products or create new ones with a profitable and competitive approach
- Risk Modeling: Improve our current risk models and analyze new variables
- Implementation feasibility: Ability to understand system and market constraints regarding a project implementation, adapting it to go live.
- Skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Strong analysis abilities
- Strong communication abilities (English written and spoken)
- Strong programming techniques and capabilities (Python, SQL, R)
- Database Management
- Financial and Economics background
- Actuarial Science or related degree
