**Sr QA Automation Engineer**

Join us in the cybersecurity business unit of J2 Global where you will help build and deliver top notch security solutions that provide online protection for home and business users alike. Our platform protects millions of customers, is growing rapidly, spans cloud and on prem and covers a multitude of OS platforms.

We're agile from bottom to top and rely on our engineers to help direct the company with planning sessions, standups, and retros. We insist on clean code and automated acceptance and unit tests.

**RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES**:

- Review products, features and design specs to understand quality and performance requirements
- Define and automate test cases
- Define, execute and collect test plan results
- Help stakeholders in the estimation
- Participate in daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings, etc.
- Perform feature, regression, release testing
- Write clear and concise bug reports and help developers to narrow down issues
- Proactively work towards improving product and processes

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Education:_
- Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent
- Requirements_:_
- Strong Knowledge of QA processes, SDLC
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hands on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Robot, Cucumber, Selenium, Locust, etc.
- Python coding experience
- Understanding of different levels of testing (Unit, integration, acceptance, etc.)
- Understanding of different layers of the software like backend, API, UI, etc.
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Working knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, Bamboo)
- Experience:_
- 5+ years of QA experience with 3+ years of automation experience
- Experience in CI and CD
- Experience of working in an agile development environment
- Experience with any of these tools Jenkins (or similar CI tool), X-Ray
- Experience with non-functional testing like performance or accessibility testing
- Behavioral Qualities:_
- Self-motivated, results driven individual
- Takes ownership of tasks and projects, effectively coordinating delivery
- Understands risks and flags up any concerns appropriately
- Should be passionate about the quality of the product
- Good root cause analysis
