Expert Legal Counsel

**Legal Advisory and Analysis**
- Offer expert legal advice on commercial and public law matters to Country Mexico Management and staff
- Conduct in-depth legal analysis and develop creative solutions for complex issues faced by the legal entity
- Design and propose innovative legal arrangements and implementation strategies

**Representation and Litigation**
- Represent division companies at the country level in court and before local authorities, both domestically and internationally
- Coordinate with external law firms when necessary, negotiating and concluding court and out-of-court settlements

**Contract Management**
- Create, review, analyze, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents
- Develop and draft legal measures, including policies and guidelines

**Stakeholder Management**
- Maintain continuous communication with international colleagues, management staff, and various stakeholders
- Serve as the primary representative for Legal in country and site operations

**Outside Counsel Management**
- Select, commission, manage, and supervise external lawyers and notaries

**Training and Development**
- Design and conduct legal training programs
- Analyze training needs and initiate new programs in your area of expertise

**Risk Management, Crisis Management and Business Support**
- Provide legal input to optimize business processes, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks
- Report key risks and opportunities to the Central Legal function in alignment with global objectives

**Operational Support**
- Offer verbal and written advice to operational teams on implementing legal standards
- Propose practical solutions for decision-making processes

**Leadership, Government Affairs and Project Management**
- Represent the legal department on high-level panels
- Manage complex, interdisciplinary domestic projects, controlling resources and reporting costs as needed

**Qualifications and Experience**:
**Educational Background**
- University degree in law (LLB or equivalent)
- Master's degree in law (LLM) preferred

**Professional Experience**
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar legal counsel role

**Technical Tools, Software, Technology**
- Legal research
- MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point) **advanced**:

- Adobe

**Language Skills**
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Spanish highly desirable

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Familiarity with Mexican corporate and commercial law
- Experience with cross-border transactions and international legal frameworks
