THE JOB:
Do you dream of advancing the leading edge of game design? We're looking for an experienced game designer to join an ambitious design team that's combining engaging game play with block-chain technology and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
YOUR MISSION:
- Play an important design role on a team working on a multiplayer fantasy action RPG game that incorporates NFTs
- Design engaging gameplay, metagame systems, exciting content, and new game-modes
- Work closely with artists and programmers to turn your design ideas into reality
- Use playtests and metrics to make decisions and refine your work
- Pitch creative ideas for new features and game modes
YOUR SKILLS:
- 3+ years of experience as a game designer, or equivalent background
- Post-secondary degree or certificate in game design, or equivalent background
- Advanced knowledge of game systems & metagame design fundamentals
- Understanding of NFTs and block-chain technology
- Proficient English with outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Ability to quickly adapt and hit deadlines in a fast-paced and creative environment
- Data-driven mindset, with experience balancing gameplay statistics, encounters, and rewards
- Collaborative spirit and love of teamwork
