Requerimientos:

- Work experience of a minimum of 3 years as an engineer, cost engineer or procurement.
- Fluent English (activities and interaction with Engineers and Category Managers located in US).
- Preferably with a background in the automotive industry.
- Extensive experience and knowledge in materials, manufacturing processes, burden rates and factors as well as production tooling, all things that drive product cost.

**Responsabilidades**:

- Will support both Procurement and Engineering with high quality material cost calculations to identify potential cost savings for both new product designs and supplier negotiations.
- Cost calculations will be both from a 'Greenfield' as well as a supplier specific perspective.
- The Cost Engineer will be expected to be a business partner to procurement and have an active role in negotiations and supplier selection.
- Cost Calculations and Analysis of current Parts.
- Should Cost Analysis for New Products/Plattforms/Launches.
- Create BOM for each project/part assuring materials requirements and reinforcements.
- Research and analyze various commodities for function to price and price to cost evaluation.
- Will require approximately 30% travel to key suppliers to know processes and product
