About the CompanyAs the biggest engine manufacturer in China, Weichai Group is looking for an experienced Testing and commissioning Engineer to join our dynamic team for Data Center projects in Mexico & Central America. This position demands a solid foundation in electrical engineering, particularly in testing and commissioning power generation equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment and systems adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements through thorough and safe testing processes.About the RoleResponsibilities will encompass managing all aspects of testing, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and Integrated Systems Tests (IST). The engineer should be proficient in developing and executing test plans that align with customer needs while maintaining clear communication with the factory.ResponsibilitiesActual participation in testing and commissioning activities including FAT, SAT, and ISTEnsure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards during testing and commissioning processesDevelop and implement testing protocols to validate system functionality and performance according to customer specificitiesDiagnose and resolve technical issues related to testing and commissioningCollaborate with project teams to incorporate testing and commissioning activities into overall project plansPreparing project documentation, including test reports, commissioning plans, and equipment manualsParticipate in project meetings and effectively communicate with stakeholders to achieve project goalsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferredProven experience in testing and commissioning power generator preferredFamiliarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical testing and commissioning (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NEC)Strong troubleshooting abilities and capacity to analyze complex electrical systemsExperience in project management or coordination is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong commitment to safety and qualityRequired SkillsThis position may require travel to project sites or customer locations, both locally and internationally as needed.Preferred SkillsPlease note that this is a 1 year renewable contract positionPay range and compensation packageAttached the profile of WEICHAI group: Weichai Holding Group Co., Ltd., founded in 1946, is the core subsidiary of Shandong Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd.
