Job description:Job Title: Invoicing / Accounting (Logistics & Transportation)Company: PA Logistics GroupLocation: RemoteRole SummaryPA Logistics Group is a growing logistics and transportation company operating across trucking, brokerage, warehousing, and freight forwarding. We are hiring an Accountant/Bookkeeper to oversee and manage the company's day-to-day accounting / invoicing operations, and support accurate financial reporting as the business scales.This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role focused on execution, accuracy, and accountability.You will be responsible for maintaining clean books, managing AR and AP cycles, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial visibility for operations and leadership. The role requires a strong understanding of logistics-specific accounting, including carrier payments and customer invoicing.You will work closely with operations, leadership, and external partners to ensure financial records are accurate, timely, and audit-ready, while helping establish scalable accounting processes to support growth.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily verification of invoices and submission to customersDaily verification of invoices from carriers and approval for paymentsManage daily bookkeeping and accounting activities across all operationsHandle accounts receivable, including customer invoicing, collections tracking, and payment applicationsManage accounts payable, including carrier payments, vendor bills, and expense reimbursementsReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and factoring statementsPrepare monthly financial statements and management reportsMonitor cash flow, aging reports, and working capital metricsCoordinate with factoring companies, banks, and payment processorsMaintain organized financial records and documentationAssist in improving accounting workflows, controls, and internal processesQualificationsExperience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably within logistics, transportation, 3PL, or supply chainHigh attention to detail and accuracyOrganized, reliable, and able to manage recurring deadlinesComfortable working independently in a remote environmentClear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyStrong understanding of AR/AP cycles, reconciliationsFull-timeWork Location: RemoteWork schedule Pacific Standard TimeJob Type: Full-time
