FUNCIONES PRINCIPALES / CORE FUNCTIONS

Plan and execute import and export operations (air, ocean, and ground).

  • Ensure compliance with customs and foreign trade regulations (LIGIE, Foreign Trade General Rules, NOMs, FTAs, PROSEC, 8° Rule, etc.).
  • Review and validate foreign trade documentation:
  • Commercial invoices
  • Packing lists
  • Bill of Lading / Air Waybill / Carta Porte
  • Customs entries and annexes
  • Value Declarations
  • Follow up on incidents, delays, damages, shortages, and claims.
  • Prepare KPI reports on a daily basis.
  • Provide technical support and training.
  • Maintain communication with internal and external customers.
  • Manage supplier's PO, Payment and Statements.
  • Audit correct classification and processing, of expenses based on plant.
  • Fill as back up for the team.

REQUISITOS / QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Educación y Experiencia / Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade, Logistics, or related field.

5 years of experience in logistics and foreign trade.

Habilidades y conocimientos / Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Mexican customs and tax legislation.
  • Tariff classification.
  • Incoterms.
  • Intermediate–advanced English (preferred).

RESPONSABILIDADES DEL SUPERVISOR / SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise daily logistics operations.
  • Assign and monitor staff activities.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Coordinate with carriers and brokers.
  • Control KPIs and costs.
  • Train and evaluate staff.
  • Prepare management reports
