Role OverviewThe Regional Head of Sales – LATAM is responsible for leading Velafi's commercial expansion across Latin America. This role owns regional sales strategy, pipeline development, revenue growth, and transaction volume across all LATAM markets.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn LATAM regional sales targets, revenue, and TPV growthLead, coach, and scale country-level Sales ExecutivesDrive acquisition of enterprise and high-volume clients across the regionDevelop corridor-specific and industry-focused sales strategiesOversee complex deal structuring and regional client expansionCoordinate closely with Compliance and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding and executionMonitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and regulatory developmentsRequirements8+ years of experience in payments or fintech sales, with LATAM market exposureProven track record managing regional sales teams, including oversight of high-performing organizations generating approximately$100 M in monthly TPVDemonstrated ability to effectively run a sales function, includingCRM management, KPI governance, and team leadership, with a strong focus on performance, engagement, and motivationProven enterprise sales and negotiation expertiseDeep understanding of cross-border payments and regional market dynamicsFluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese
