️ONLY RESUMES IN ENGLISH WILL BE CONSIDERED IN THE SELECTION PROCESS️Summary:SINBON Mexico is looking for a Buyer/Purchasing Specialist to join our family in San Luis Potosí.This position requires a professional with great competitive spirit, concrete experience in purchasing, and excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with other departments and external suppliers.️ONLY RESUMES IN ENGLISH WILL BE CONSIDERED IN THE SELECTION PROCESS️Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Procurement and Supplier Management:Identifies, acquires, and ensures the availability of materials and supplies using computer systemsSources, evaluates, negotiates with, and manage external suppliersReviews purchase order confirmations for accuracyBuilds and maintains strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on-time deliveryMaterials Planning and Inventory Control:Ensures availability of raw materials and supplies aligned with production demandAnalyses current and forecasted needs to anticipate shortages or excess.Manages safety stock, excess inventory, and material planning decisions.Operational Coordination and Order Fulfillment:Coordinates with Operation and internal teams to align material supply with production schedulesMonitors order confirmations, delivery accuracy, and supplier performanceFollows up on discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate fulfillmentCross-Functional Collaboration and ReportingCollaborates with Operations to align production schedulingFollows up with suppliers to ensure material availabilityMaintains an electronic inventory databaseReports on inventory PPV, excess inventory, and safety stockRequirements:Basic understanding of electronic manufacturing procedures3 years' work experience in procurement / electronics or automotive backgroundBachelor's Degree in related area (preferred)Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and SpanishExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to compile information and make decisionsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailand has a competitive spiritExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and MRP/ERP SystemsPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift 15 lbs. at a time
