AR Billing and Collections specialistLocation: Latin America (Remote)Schedule: Full-time • EST (Eastern Time)Compensation: $1,300 – $2,000 USD / monthRole SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing & Collections specialist to join our growing finance team. This role is key to maintaining the company's financial health by ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding receivables, resolving billing issues promptly, and delivering an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate will combine persistence and professionalism with a strong customer service mindset, balancing firm collection practices with empathy and clear communication.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and manage outstanding accounts receivable using aging reportsContact clients regarding overdue balances through outbound and inbound callsEncourage and facilitate timely payments while maintaining positive client relationshipsProcess customer payments and provide documentation such as invoices and statement upon requestInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes promptlyAccurately update and maintain customer accounts recordsManage customer inquires and concerns submitted through Salesforce (25-30 cases per day; higher volume at the beginning of each month)Make approximately 30 collections calls per day, dedicating about 20 hours per week to direct phone outreachMeet or exceed individual and teem collections goalsApply appropriate and professional collections techniques in accordance with company policyRequirements3-5 years of proven experience as a Collection Specialist, Accounts Receivable Specialist, or similar roleStrong work ethic and sound decision-making abilityExceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-throughExcellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and multitask effectivelyDemonstrated customer service skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Net Suite and database systemsAbility to quickly learn and adapt to various software platforms and process workflowsSolid understanding of billing and collection procedures and techniquesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a teamBenefits:Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k) with company matchLife Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Training & Professional Development
