Project Manager – Enterprise ArchitectureRemote: MexicoPosition OverviewThe Project Manager – Enterprise Architecture is responsible for leading large-scale, complex technology initiatives with multi-functional and multi-regional impact. This role manages programs across the full project lifecycle, coordinates interdependencies with other project and program teams, mitigates risk, and delivers executive-level reporting. The Project Manager applies industry-standard methodologies and best practices to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives within regulated enterprise environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead large and/or complex technology projects through the full lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closureDevelop and maintain project charters, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and delivery roadmapsMonitor project performance against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk targets; manage change, issues, and dependenciesCollaborate with other project and program managers to manage cross-project and program-level interdependenciesProvide regular status updates, risk assessments, and executive-level reporting to senior stakeholdersEstablish and maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams, technical leaders, and internal and external stakeholdersGuide technical teams through delivery activities, including development, testing, and production support, ensuring alignment with architectural standardsEnsure business stakeholder expectations are met; communicate feasibility constraints and propose alternative solutions when requiredConduct feasibility assessments and cost-benefit analyses to support investment decisionsEstablish and enforce project management standards, methodologies, and governance practicesFoster a collaborative and engaged team environment; mentor team members and support professional developmentMust-Have QualificationsExtensive experience leading complex, multi-phase technology programsStrong communication skills with the ability to align business, architecture, and engineering stakeholdersProven stakeholder management and facilitation skills in matrixed, global organizationsExperience operating within governance, compliance, and risk frameworks typical of regulated industriesDemonstrated leadership behaviors including accountability, collaboration, strategic thinking, and clear decision-makingBroad technical awareness across cloud, integration, data, security, and modern engineering practices to manage delivery risks and dependenciesNice-to-Have QualificationsStrong understanding of enterprise architecture concepts and frameworksExperience leading modernization initiatives involving both legacy and emerging technologiesExperience coordinating globally distributed teams across regions and time zonesAbility to translate architectural guidance into actionable delivery plansExperience with tools such as Aha, Azure Dev Ops (ADO), Confluence, and PlaniswareEducation & ExperienceRequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience10+ years of experience in project management rolesHands-on experience managing complex, technical initiativesPreferredPMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certificationsExperience in insurance or reinsurance environmentsSix Sigma or other process improvement trainingOrganizational Change Management (Prosci) certificationSkillsRequiredProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Power Point, Excel, Project)Strong project management fundamentals and delivery disciplineAbility to adapt quickly, take initiative, and maintain accountability under changing conditionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong understanding of project dependencies and program-level impactsAbility to work effectively under tight deadlines and evolving priorities
