Role Title: Data Operations Analyst (Remote in MX)Employment Type:Contract-to-Hire/Contract-to-Full TimeDuration:3 months contract, then converts to Full TimePreferred Location:Remote in MexicoRole DescriptionWe are seeking a curious, growth-minded Junior Data Ops Engineer to support and monitor our data platform. You'll gain hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Python while learning to take ownership of your work.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor & Respond: Track pipelines, investigate failures, and log issues.Support Users: Troubleshoot tickets and resolve data-related questions.Data Ingestion: Ensure timely and accurate daily data loads.Learn & Automate: Build Python scripts to automate checks and repetitive tasks.Documentation: Record known errors and solutions for the team.Skill Growth: Learn the stack to take on more complex engineering tasks over time.RequirementsExperience: 0-2 years (internships, bootcamps, personal projects count).Mindset: Self-starter, persistent, eager to learn, and willing to ask questions.SQL: Basic understanding (joins, aggregations, filtering) to query and validate data.Python: Working knowledge; comfortable reading code and learning modern practices (3.10+).Troubleshooting: Can logically identify the source of errors.Ownership: Follows through to fully resolve issues.Nice to HaveExposure to Snowflake (labs or certifications).Snow Pro Core certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.Basic Git/version control and command-line familiarity.
