Job Tittle : Global Procurement Services Category ManagerLocation : Mexico CountrySkills:Hardware/Software Industry Knowledge Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Netapp and othersProcurement Negotiations Skills, Problem Solver and strategic thinkerFluent English Language with effective communication skillsUse of MS365 toolsSAP/Ariba as Procurement ToolSupplier relationship ManagementContract Negotiation and ManagementPosition SummaryPrimarily responsible for the effective creation and implementation of all category's strategic direction and management of the category under scope of responsibility ( Servers and Storage HW), working with the global procurement team to implement category strategies with focus on cost optimization, negotiate contracts and commercial terms and supplier relationship management with key OEMs. This role will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, as well as identifying and mitigating supply chain risk.Key areas of ResponsibilityAct as point of contact for internal or external stakeholders and determine global priorities for the CategoryEnsure Category, Procurement and Stakeholder team members adhere to HCL Procurement PoliciesDevelop global cost optimization strategies for the categoryEstablish a method and monitor the execution of Category activitiesBuying Guides creation for Key OEMsNegotiate contracts with key OEMs and agreementsMonitor Category markets on a on-going basis to identify and understand key players, new comers, economic evolutions, market or regulation constraints, innovations and technology in order to support the development of the most up to date category strategies for the businessReport on a monthly basics Category spend results and execute procurement audits
