Legal Analyst – Financial & Regulatory Focus (Remote) Remote – Mexico | Full-time | Legal & Financial Compliance Salary Range: USD $1500 - $1800 per month About the Company Our client is a fast-growing private investment firm focused on helping small-cap public companies reach their full potential. With increasing interest in their services, they're expanding their team and are looking for a sharp, driven professional with a legal background to support operations as the company scales. About the Role We're looking for a Legal Analyst with a strong foundation in Mexican law and an interest in the financial and regulatory landscape in the U.S. You'll work closely with the Operations Officer and Founders, supporting the team on legal documentation, compliance-related matters, research, and organization of contracts and investment-related documents. You'll thrive in this role if you're a fast learner, proactive, and eager to work in an international, fast-paced environment. This is an ideal role for someone who's legally trained in Mexico but eager to learn about U.S. financial regulations and work within a global investment context. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and manage legal and investment-related documentation. Conduct legal research on topics relevant to both Mexican and U.S. financial law (training provided). Support due diligence processes and assist with regulatory documentation. Maintain structured filing systems and CRM records in line with legal protocols. Collaborate cross-functionally with administrative and financial teams. Assist in coordinating and scheduling meetings, maintaining legal calendars, and preparing reports or summaries. Monitor and ensure internal compliance with investment documentation requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Law (Licenciatura en Derecho) from a reputable Mexican university. Strong interest or previous exposure to financial or corporate law . 1–4 years of professional legal experience (law firm, in-house, or government sector). Excellent legal writing and research skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Comfortable using digital tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace . Fluent in Spanish with advanced English (reading and writing legal/financial documents in English is a must). Eagerness to learn and work on cross-border topics, particularly U.S. financial legal systems . Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.
