UpTier Agency is a PR firm securing premium media placements and building credibility assets that convert (press pages, sales enablement, executive positioning, SEO authority).The mission of this roleTurn UpTier's editorial output into a consistent "house voice," a reliable interview-to-angle process, and an asset library that trains new hires fast, so quality improves as volume scales.ResponsibilitiesEditorial leadership: define standards, set the bar, and protect quality.Framework upgrades: audit our existing templates/SOPs and improve them (interview docs, story outlines, draft structures, claim/proof requirements).Training + onboarding: record Loom videos, build onboarding modules, and create "gold standard" examples with annotations.Narrative direction: help shape client positioning and angle selection so outputs feel earned, specific, and credible.Owned content system: guide what we publish (pillars, case studies, sales assets), and how we decide priorities.Who this is forYou're a senior editorial operator who can build systems, not just write. You can pull sharp angles from interviews, enforce standards kindly but firmly, and create training materials people actually follow.Requirements8–12+ years in editorial / PR writing / journalism / executive comms (agency or newsroom experience strongly preferred).Proven ability to run executive interviews and extract publishable angles.Strong editorial taste.Portfolio showing long-form authority writing and/or before/after editorial leadership.Working modelFractional retainer: 10–20 hours/weekAsync-first (Docs + Loom), with one weekly call.You'll collaborate with Ops/publicists/writers; you own the editorial system.
