Our products, present in a wide variety of fields, that contribute to improve the quality of life of millions of people.Job DescriptionGENERAL DESCRIPTIONResponsible for raw material planning, follow-up of releases with all the suppliers, maintaining optimum level of raw material to control obsoletes and avoid production shortages and downtime. Avoid premium freight costs for transportation. Improvement and optimization of procurement planning processes. Further rollout of preferred supply concepts and contribution to TCT reduction targets and LOG cost achievement.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCoordination with Sourcing, Manufacturing and Warehouse Departments to ensure the smooth operation of planning, incoming raw material to maximize the inventory utilization and manufacturing capacity.Expedite and reschedule open purchase orders to suit production planning requirements.Review and provide follow-up on orders placed, verify delivery, and maintain necessary records.Provide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product introduction and phase outs.Monitor raw material inventory levels in a monthly basis, in order to comply with the business plan target.Plan, schedule, coordinate and/or monitor new programs and New Parts Introduction.Daily communication with suppliers to ensure enough raw material for production.QualificationsEDUCATION & ACADEMIC BACKGROUNDBachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.Bilingual: Spanish and Advanced EnglishSKILLS & EXPERIENCE3 years of experience in planning raw material or similar position.SAP System Knowledge (Planning and Raw Material Modules) is a plus.MS Office.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders at all levels.Critical thinking and Continuous improvement mindsetSelf-directed and proactiveTeamwork and problem-solving skills.Additional InformationBosch is constantly expanding its international presence, since for us cultural diversity represents one of our greatest strengths.
