About the RoleWe are looking for aProgram Buyerwith 3–5 years of experience in the automotive industry to manage purchasing activities for new product launches and ongoing programs. This role will ensure the timely sourcing of components, cost optimization, supplier performance, and adherence to program timelines. The ideal candidate has a strong background in supplier negotiations, program management, and cross-functional collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadsourcing and procurementactivities for assigned vehicle programs from concept through launch.Develop and executepurchasing strategiesaligned with program goals for quality, cost, and delivery.Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.Coordinate with engineering, quality, and program management teams to ensure supplier compliance with specifications and milestones.Manage supplier performance, risk assessment, and escalation processes as needed.Track purchasing KPIs and provide regular status updates to program leadership.Support cost-reduction initiatives, tooling procurement, and change management activities.Requirements~ Bachelor's degree inBusiness, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.~3–5 yearsof purchasing or procurement experience in theautomotive industry.~ Proven track record insupplier negotiationsand contract management.~ Understanding ofautomotive program developmentphases (APQP, PPAP).~ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.~ Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.~ Ability to work with cross-functional, global teams.~ Willingness to travel for supplier visits and program meetings.Preferred Skills
