Senior Software Engineer (Golang/TypeScript/React)
Mexico City, Mexico – remote. Please note that while this role is remote, we require team members to be based in this region for periodic in-person meet-ups.
Reporting to Lead Software Engineer
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, working 9-5 EST/EDT with potential on-call support required
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team, responsible for working on our platform, which some of the world's biggest companies, central banks and non-governmental organisations use to build revenue and volume through data and analytics. Designing, developing, testing, maintaining and enhancing the Golang microservices and frontend applications you're responsible for
Improving the performance and observability of our services and applications
Improving the quality of life of your team and the business, through automation, process improvement or new technologies
You will join a technical team of approximately 30 technologists with a key purpose of continuously and reliably collecting large amounts of financial data describing cross-border payments, then processing the data, verifying its quality and serving it to our users so that they can make informed business decisions
You will be interacting with various stakeholders across the business in addition to your immediate team
Write Golang services and web app backends, and deploy them in Docker containers
Build beautiful, componentised application frontends in React/TypeScript
Write performant SQL
Understand clean code principles and the language idioms of TypeScript and Go, review code using these principles and establish team quality standards
Building CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitLab CI
Prometheus and Grafana)
Using Airflow, Python or Terraform
Golang, TypeScript, React, MaterialUI, MariaDB, Clickhouse, Gitlab, AWS, SQL
