Through the launch of (plated)TM Skin Science, we will transform the skincare market using our revolutionary RenewosomeTM technology from platelet-extract to help rejuvenate the skin.Position SummaryThis position is for a Sales Consultant (independent contractor) supporting Rion Aesthetics, a spinoff of Rion, Inc., located in Rochester, MN. The Sales Consultant is responsible for generating sales in an assigned geographic territory. Call points may include Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, and Medical Spas. The Sales Consultant will apply strong business acumen to create and execute plans for the direct sale of Rion Aesthetics' products to physicians and skin care professionals. The ideal candidate demonstrates a track record of strong sales performance and the ability to open new accounts, generate leads, and expand business with an existing customer base. This role requires proficiency in clinical selling, product education, and providing high levels of customer service in the aesthetic-physician dispensing industry. The Sales Consultant will collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute corporate direction. Compensation for this contractor role is provided through commission payments based on sales.ResponsibilitiesPromote and sell products to current and potential customers in a defined geographic territory.Develop and initiate business tactics to increase sales for specific products.Demonstrate effective direct selling techniques and marketing strategies to grow the brands.Develop and execute training programs for physicians and staff.Coordinate and execute Open Houses and promotional events to increase sales and product pull- through.Build strong professional relationships with the customer base and provide high levels of customer service.Maintain clear communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, physicians, and practice staff.Develop a sound territory routing plan based on business priorities.Operate within any approved guidelines and budgets related to territory activities (as applicable).Participate in sales meetings, conference calls, and other business updates as needed.Minimum Education, Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesA degree from a 4-year university is required.Minimum of 3 years in a B2B selling role with a preference for experience in skin care, medical device, or specialty pharmaceutical sales.Documented history of exceeding sales goals.Strong business acumen and aptitude for learning.Experience in roles that require high levels of customer service.Proficiency with goal setting, time management, organization skills, communication, relationship building, and problem-solving.Ability to balance multiple responsibilities and achieve sales goals in a fast-paced, direct selling environment.Competency with video conferencing and use of Microsoft TeamsAbility to travel 30% of the time or greater, with overnight stays.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.CompensationThis is a contractor position compensated through commission payments based on sales performance. Commission rates and payment terms will be provided and agreed upon prior to engagement.
