This role is an Expert staff-level position within HP's Global Responsible Sourcing Team. The individual serves as a senior leader responsible for driving strategic responsible sourcing and human rights initiatives through cross-functional influence, program leadership, stakeholder engagement, and operational execution. Working across procurement, supply chain, legal, sustainability, and customer-facing teams, this individual will lead high-impact programs, drive governance and execution, and represent HP with customers and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will help ensure HP effectively manages risk, meets evolving stakeholder expectations, and advances its responsible sourcing strategy through strong program management, customer engagement, and enterprise-wide collaboration.
Drives cross-functional alignment across Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Legal, Compliance, Government Affairs, and Communications to develop and implement responsible sourcing priorities, positions, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
Owns the development, governance, and continuous improvement of responsible sourcing policies, standards, supplier requirements, and related management systems to support risk management, regulatory readiness, and customer expectations.
Leads complex, multi-stakeholder projects from strategy through execution, establishing clear operating models, decision-making processes, accountability mechanisms, and performance measures.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Rights, Law, Public Policy, Public Affairs, Sustainability, Supply Chain, International Relations, Business, or a related field; legal training or experience with international human rights standards is preferred.
Typically has 8+ years of relevant experience in public affairs, responsible sourcing, human rights, sustainability, supply chain due diligence, policy, regulatory strategy, or stakeholder engagement, with demonstrated ability to operate independently as a senior subject matter expert in a global, matrixed organization.
Fluency in English, with strong executive-level written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus for global stakeholder engagement.
