This is your opportunity to elevate your career with Altimetrik México.We are currently seeking a talentedPayments Systems Specialist / Payments & Transactional Switch Engineer (IST/Switch)with strong experience in payment systems, digital banking, and transactional platforms. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop high-performance, customized solutions based onFIS payment products, ensuring optimal integration with the digital payments ecosystem (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, networks, fraud engines, and core banking platforms).Modality:Remote️English Level:Advanced reading, writing, and listening (not mandatory)Position Type:Full-timeExperience Level:6–7 years (Senior Developer)Core ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with internal teams and clients to gather technical requirements.Develop customizations and extensions for FIS payment products.Design algorithms and new software systems for high-availability transactional environments.Write efficient, high-performance code for payment processing.Test, deploy, and maintain applications across multiple environments.Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing software.Collect and analyze user feedback to enhance platform performance.Create technical documentation for future development.Specialized Payments & Switch ResponsibilitiesIntegrate IST with external payment networkssuch as Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and local switching networks.Integrate IST with core banking systems, fraud engines, settlement modules, and digital banking platforms.Manage ISO 8583 libraries, conversion tables, and message variantsrequired per network or institution.Configure, maintain, and optimize transactional routing rules within the switch.Ensure compliance with fintech and digital banking operational standards.Collaborate in certification processes with card networks and local payment schemes.Required SkillsDeep knowledge ofpayment applications, transactional systems, and digital banking platforms.Strong experience working withSwitch Transaccional (FIS IST)or similar platforms.Solid understanding ofback-office processing, settlement, and reconciliation.Strong experience with theISO 8583 standard, message variants, and field mappings.Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency inC++.Experience withOracle DatabaseandLinux environments.Familiarity withJavaorAngular.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Nice to HaveDeep knowledge of one or moreFIS applications: IST Switch, Clearing, MAS, CBK, Data Navigator.Experience in fintech environments, digital banks, or high-volume transactional platforms.Familiarity with EMV, tokenization, PCI compliance, and card-network certification processes.What We Offer:Compensation:MXN Gross Salary, performance-based bonuses, 1-month Christmas bonus, welcome kit, home office set-up bonus of 300 USD.Professional Growth:Opportunities for professional development and ongoing training.Benefits:Comprehensive health insurance, savings funds, grocery coupons, gym membership, internet bonus, discounts, and more.Time Off:16 vacation days + 2 floating days and public holidays.Work Environment:A dynamic and collaborative environment where your ideas are valued and can be turned into real projects, with engagement activities celebrating each milestone.
