The Senior Systems Engineer performs total-system analysis throughout the product lifecycle, including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. As a Sr Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation.
Conduct total-system cost, risk, supportability, and effectiveness analyses.
Manage configuration processes and changes.
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies.
Define and manage interfaces among mechanical, electrical, controls, and software elements.
Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of HVAC systems/mechanical engineering experienceor Masters degree and 3+ years of HVAC systems/mechanical engineeringexperience.
Help junior engineers increase their proficiency through technical guidance, demonstrations, and recommendations.
Improve engineering quality across the organization.
Contribute to technical reviews, support activities, and executive presentations.
Understand customer needs and connect engineering work to business goals.
